Tarisota Tissue Flowers- by Rachel
You will need
- The delicious pink tissue paper from your Tarisota kit
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Needle and small amount of DMC thread
- Fluid chalk inkpad in creamy brown
- Flower template (I have used the flower from a Maya Road chipboard keyring)
Take out your tissue from your box and fold over and over to form a small rectangle
Trace the flower template and cut out the shape (holding all petals together as you go)
Take the needle and thread and make a small stitch in the centre of the flower, stitching through all layers of the tissue. Tie off at back.
Layer by layer scrunch tissue up to centre of flower. Leaving the outer petals more spread out.
Run the creamy brown ink pad over the flower.
Use to embellish a layout, mini album or canvas.
Flowers are not just flower... each flower is a possibility for a fabulous border, as shown by Nic. Add a little paint for that extra pizazz. Cut petals from flower, add to a line of adhesive and you have yourself a fabulous border.
