Each month we offer some ideas to get you off and racing on a project - it may be a prompt for journalling - or for photos or something else creative
This month Gigi suggested we focus on a couple of the challenges that are out in blog land at the moment.
Gigi says ...After working with my January Tarisota collection: Timeless Beauty, I had still had so much gorgeous paper and embellishments left on my craft desk & I just wanted a bit more of a play with the beautiful black, red and cream color scheme so I decided to make a quick ATC for my ATC spinner. I love how it turned out & since have come up with a plan for the year that will make use of my beautiful Tarisota scraps, bits & bobs and also create a spot for me to display my favorite (and most of the time not scrapped) photos.
If you are anything like me, you take LOTS of photos and most of time they remain on the harddrive of your computer. And it drives me crazy because these "everyday" photos are so often are my favorites. So in order to get more of my precious photos out where I can enjoy them, I'm going to use my ATC spinner to display them. What I figure I'm going to do is each month after finishing my Tarisota Collection projects, I'm going to then create an ATC card and label it with that month. {If you've never created an ATC card, let me tell you, they are so quick & so fun to create. I love them because I get to have a bit of a play with my crafty supplies without any of the pressure of a big project or journaling or theme.} That month's ATC card will then be popped into my ATC spinner. At the end of the month, I'll print out a sheet of my favorite photos from the month, all sized to 2x3, cut them & pop them behind that month's ATC card. I think it will look so great displayed as a running photo calendar of our family's treasured everyday moments.
I'll keep you posted with how the project is coming!
Gigi :)
In keeping with photo projects- there is also the 365 project -where you take a photo of everyday of the year..
