Pinspiration {7}

This weeks pinspiration stands out from all my others.

I'm drawn to colour but I don't wear it - or design with it or style my home with it.

When I saw that lovely cabinet though I couldn't help but feel happy.

One of my girls I call my rainbow child - she loves colour and as I was creating this little pinspiration she was beside me telling me how her house will be filled with furniture just like this. Good luck to her I say - I wish I was equally as brave.

Pinspiration {6}

Tonights pinspiration - (colour combos created from favourite pins I have collect through the week)  is out of the norm for me- No weddings in the planning for our family!

We have thought about renewing our vows for our 20th wedding anniversary in 2 years time especially now that Richard is Catholic we would like to have the renewal. Rest assured I won't be wearing anything as gorgeous as this dress though.

I think my head is in wedding mode though as I am of course swept up in the royal wedding fever. I'm so looking forward to the 7pm projects coverage of the event:) I'm a sucker for all the glitz and glamor.

I love the neutral soft tones in this colour palatte. I am so tempted to start a new board over on pinterest with beautiful clothes but I'm trying to resist.

How quickly are the weeks rolling on through - this Sunday nights pinspiration - (colour combos created from favourite pins I have collect through the week)  I found early on - I LOVED the simple peaches in those aqua cups and have been searching for something to match :) 

Bright and cheery and kind of perfect fro autumn don't you think?

I love that butterfly pillow - I actually want to try to copy that idea of mismatched pillows all different colours and patterns - I'm guessing it can be done really well - or umm really really badly LOL

That dress just screams Madmen to me - I'm missing watching the series - I have put myself on a Big Love  and Madmen ban till after Easter I was finding myself staying up waaay too late watching.

Pinspiration {2}

My favourite pinboard at the moment is my crochet one -  No doubt that's because it's my current obsession - I start a new class on Monday night and have been trawling the boards looking for colours for my first official project.

 Today's Pinspiration has included crochet  again -they won't all I promise :)

Pinspiration

I'm starting a new blog feature -sharing some of my favourite pins and colours.I have been pinning over at pinterest for some time now. It's definately my favourite place to go for inspiration. I love the pretty pictures and I love that I can gather and keep the ideas and pictures that are inspiring to me.

 

 These gorgeous flowers and such a pretty crochet rug. The colours scream early autumn I think.
