I have been madly catching up on project life over the last week or so. I mean like really catching up - 11 weeks worth of catching up. Just saying.
I have been umming and ahhing about whether to buy a core kit or whether or not to just get on and do. I ended up just getting on with it and found that I had so many pictures and stories for each week I didn't need anything other than white cardstock for my journalling and a heap of pictures printed. I did however need to be able to trim straight. My Making Memories cutter had given up the ghost some time back and I loved it so I have been in denial about buying a new one. I borrowed my friends but I knew that was only a temporary solution. This week I saw at spotlight they had a special on the American Crafts cutter from $79.95 down to $49.95 with your VIP card.
A quick google to check reviews and I decided it was worth a try. I quickly headed there before it closed and came home with my new cutter. Oh my gosh I love it so much. It's as heavy as the MM one. It comes with a scalloped cutter and a scorer as well as a blade. The replacement blades are $5.95. They are super easy to slip in and out. It's in cm and inche s which is an absolute bonus too. Love love love it.

Now all I need to do is finish up my pages. I have them all planned out and all the photos printed. The journalling is what's holding me up. I am half way done. Stay tuned though I hope to be sharing very soon.
