Hello :0( I never meant to step away from here for so long. In my head each evening I write blog posts but sadly I never got to the keyboard.
This week I received my email from pinterest with my stats - You have pinned three new pins.
SIGH
It's a sad state of affairs when I haven't even pinned let alone blogged.
So a quick update before I launch into a series of blog posts - I use my blog as my online journal and prefer to keep some of my topics separate. I hope your blog readers don't get overloaded:)
Richard has returned from the land of the long white cloud - with pinky bars and pineapple lumps and the bittersweet news that they loved him and they want him back regularly. It's good I'm sure.
With him being away my girls sucked every spare second out of me - as they should it's one of those Mumma sacrifices that happens and when it's happening you think AGGGGGHH when will this ever end and then suddenly it's over and you think I wish it was back - So I'm trying to just go with it at the moment.
We are madly in countdown mode for the girls first confirmation and communion which is on us in three weeks. Our Saturday afternoons and evenings have been taken up with preparation sessions at church leaving not much time for anything else. This Saturday we dragged Richard to Brisbane to find the girls their dresses - what a task. More on that in a later post and I'll share the pictures on the day. After 5 hours of schlepping the shops I smelt LUSH. I handed my parcels and my girls over and sent Richard off in search of coffee for me - while I chilled out. I love that store so much and I rarely get to Pacific Fair these days. I bought myself a treat -
The Godmother - I think it smells like red frogs - sweet and moreish with a touch of glitter for sparkles. Now if only I could get a shower in peace to enjoy it!
What's your go to me time thing when you are getting sucked into the rush of everyday life and you get left behind? I'd love to know.
