After 5 days of sneezing, running nose, wheezing asthma and red raw eyes which I had just put down to change of season cold ... I dragged myself to the Drs this afternoon. Mostly because I could not stop my eyes from streaming - they were just so so sore and I was on my second bottle of eyedrops - figured I must have conjunctivitis or something and the chemist wouldn't give me anything over the counter ...sigh
Turns out I have hay fever ( who knew ?) -and it's in my eyes - I have never heard of such a thing - but apparently it's true. I'm now dosed up with some antihistamines and a antibiotic eye drop and the promise that things should improve dramatically in the next 24 hours.
I may be able to sit and see my computer screen not through a haze of watery eyes with any luck.
Hallelujah I say.
On happier news ....( or umm different news ?)
Richard is in NZ - and has just text me to say he has a six pack of crownies for $13 - Hello? That's cheaper than 6 bottles of water over here ? What the ?
The girls are off to Brisbane to the planetarium tomorrow for an excursion - YAY for a school that has it's own buses - all I have to provide is a yummy lunch. Being the awesome Mumma that I am have I made muffins? or slice? or brownies? Nope - a packet of smith crisps and a fruit box is my special addition to their lunch box tomorrow.
I'm scouring pinterest for some ideas for their first communion lunch /party which is coming up way too soon -I haven't found anything brilliant that I love yet LOL nor do they have dresses - minor point.
I finally finished The secret lives of dresses - not because I wasn't loving it just because I got sidetracked with other things to read- LOVED it light hearted but with some lovely messages - add it to your to read list.
I'm inspired by Mel's stories about going to Hong Kong Disneyland - you can read them here. We had nearly booked for Japan this year and then things went haywire and I feel fortunate that we hadn't booked. So I cancelled my long service leave. Today I put back in for another two weeks at October - not that we will go travelling at that time but Im looking forward to having some time off.
Our Teapot projects are almost finished we are now just not so patiently waiting on our lady who is coding our template especially for us to be done so we can start delivering - MEGA excited about how many of you have signed up and can't wait to share our first edition.
It's about one minute till Offspring starts it's new season - I can't wait - LOVE Asher Keddie.
