I've pretty much finished the design part of my blog
I still have
- some pages to add added - content still to come
- MANY some links to sort out ( ie those pretty pictures - they go all to the same place at the moment! )
- a couple more designers to pop up
- Tari stuff to link up
- current projects to share
- top navigation to be linked- I broke this - I'm waiting to hear back from typepad!
and then I am done - In the meantime everything else is working perfectly roflol - and the blogging must continue. The archives are still available on the side Broken- and I have added a search section. So I figure I'm good enough to go at the moment.
Why the redesign?
Firstly it was driving me crazy that every time I wanted a favourite recipe that I knew I had blogged I had to google the recipe name and Tarisota Typepad in the hope that it would come up- So while I still don't have that quite sorted it will be with the new set up.
Mind you 2000+ posts that aren't categorised as well as they should be will take a bit of sorting :)
And secondly, as I mentioned at the end of our Hip Hop series Mel and I are working on a new collaboration (that we will be sharing very very soon) which required a reshuffle on my blog.
I learnt heaps and hope to bring you some blogging tips for typepad over the next few weeks because there isn't a lot of info out there in comparison to blogger and wordpress - I had to look in multiple places and really dig deep to find some answers.
I have set up a facebook fan page too to share all the Tari news and fav inspiration - You can see it over here for those of you who facebook.
It's all very new to me and I don't have a personal page as a teacher that makes it kind of tricky - but I do have my business page now set :) and I'm slowly working it out.
