This is my super duper make it alot boiled chocolate cake. I double the recipe and make it in a slab when I have a birthday to celebrate at school. It's easy to slice up - stays lovely and moist and the kids love it- so do the adults. I kid you not I have made it 6 times in the last 6 weeks I think with one thing and another. The girls took a version to their after school party for their birthday too.
I used the cadbury cooca which makes this so deliciously dark and its a very generous heaped tablespoon by 2 ( or 4 - if doubling the recipe). Usually I just sprinkle with coconut or hundred and thousands depending on the audience but for this one I added crushed candy canes. Really yummy!
Seriously this is one recipe you want to commit to memory.
