Look what's coming

so excited to be able to bring this to you all again :)

 

we are all working frantically behind scenes on 10 classes! our recipes :) and a couple of other treats !

I heard from my first few customers today that their collections had arrived  - so start stalking your mailman

crazy few weeks coming up - both with Tari and on the home front- the girls have this extraordinary list of Christmas crafts and activities that they wold like to accomplish

but no xmas decos or crafting in our house until after the girls birthday - that is the rule.

so right now high on my list is to complete a fairy tent house thingy for their 7th party . Its all very magical but kinda tiring some days! 

More soon ( I hope! )

Extra Bits and Bobs :)

Finally we are packed – as in all collections are packed ready to be boxed and orders filled.

And I think – fingers crossed we have every bead every stamp every piece of vintage trim accounted for.

Through our packing we do however have some extra papers – not the full sets  but a good handful.

I have now listed those on site under limited editions for purchase.

 

You may like an extra set of papers now that you have seen the gallery – keeping in mind we have a second release  to happen on the 15^th of  December  with even more project ideas

 

 

We also have very limited numbers left of just  the papers for our Christmas classes – you may like an extra pack of those to allow you to create more than just a couple of classes

 

As well we have a very sweet   Vintage add on that only arrived to us yesterday-and will make its debut in the next gallery release.

 

 

On offer is also additional cardstock -  we have found in our designing we are going through  kraft cardstock  like crazy so I am offering it to you in  packs to add into your boxes. I’m using Kraft this year for all my Christmas cards – just adding red and some chocolate ;)

This month’s teckni colour is on site for sale too- Designed by Jill GG  -  Vintage and Gold and gorgeous - very festive looking

I have also added our popular subscription vouchers for you to buy for your friends  or  your friend or significant other to buy for you ;) we send out a lovely little voucher  which is perfect for under the tree.

Remember any additions  will ship for free if you have a current order so you can ignore the shipping charges

We are boxing over the weekend for a Monday ship – so please pop your orders through as soon as you can so we can combine for you.

And finally if you missed out on Ooky Spooky now is the time to grab it – we have reduced our last  few and it will ship free with your collection

You may have noticed in our gallery reveal last night  a fabulous fairy house creation made by Rachel.

Rachel's friend Robyn very kindly allowed her to use a pattern she had created to make this project. Rachel used our addiction collection and added 3 fat quarters of calico as well.

Designer in Residence - Deb Godley

Please welcome our inaugural Designer in residence - Deb  - we have already madly been chatting up a storm and Deb has fitted in beautifully with a few of our other zany designers.

Her style can only be defined as  eclectic , a bit old worldy and inherently unique and we are excited to have  Deb join us through to February and share her talent with the team.I will let Deb tell her story

I am a Mummy to 2 beautiful, spirited children, Montana 11, and Halen 7. I am a hairdresser by trade,and I am lucky enough to be married to my best friend, soul mate and high school sweetheart Shane.

We live just outside of Tamworth , NSW, on a small acreage with cows, dogs, cockatoos, fish..and the odd snake, lizard, kangaroo and echidna in the back paddock.

My hubby is a musician, so between us we have made a fairly creative home out of our “house on the hill”

I have an obsession with old and rustic things..I love to browse garage sales and antique shops..

my most prized possession in an old Underwood typewriter….. 

and I'm certainly not worried about a cobweb or two..

it goes with the ambiance of my house!!!

When I'm creating..there tends to be stuff pulled out of cupboards and drawers everywhere..and I usually don’t clean up until I'm finished a project…yes..I'm a messy, messy girl…

I have always been a bit arty, and when I took up scrapbooking a few years ago, it quickly blossomed into an obsession, and the natural progression was to branch out into mixed media arts.

 

I have always loved to draw

and paint

and I have a real “thing” about dolls…...so my ‘style’ incorporates all of these things.

This is why, when Tamar offered me a Guest Designer spot with Tarisota in September, I jumped at the chance!!!

I have always been in awe of the collections and the galleries, and the incredibly talented women on the Tarisota Design Team, and have always dreamt of being on the Team.
To now be offered the Guest Designer in Residence  position..is an honour and a blessing..and I am so super proud to be a more permanent part of Tarisota for the next 3 months! Thank you Tamar!!!
I only hope I can inspire others as much as Tarisota has inspired me over the years.

We are very aware of how much everyone needs to watch their pennies these days so have decided not to release a December collection for 2009.  Instead we have moved our very popular end of year free add on collection to our November release.

Who is our very first designer in residence? She will be announced at midnight tomorrow night on our blog with details of the sorts of projects you can expect to see during her time with us.
