I used to think sounded old but they say that 40 is the new 30 - not sure who they are but I'll take that.
Yesterday Richard turned 40 - this comes into even more significance when I realise that he celebrated my 21st with me - In a few more years we will have been together more than we haven't been.

photos were kinda hit and miss but still documented - gotta love that
1, Morning was rushed with Richard heading to golf with my grandfather so just one pressie and cuddles
2. coffee hot tea and cold milos
2. croissants with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon - the girls made breakkie
4. evening pressie pile complete with about 6 different homemade cards
5. the hit of the pressies - flash uno - the picture lies he loves it really - we've been playing tonight - heaps of fun
6. dinner with friends - simple steamed potatoes rocket salad chicken wrapped in prosciutto
7. after much discussion we ( I ) decided against 40 candles and we went with squiggly sparklers
8. took me ages to make that cake look like I had bought it from Michel's Patisserie s ;)
9. went down well with blueberries and strawberries- chocolate mud
10.a game of pictionary to finish the night
11.he may be forty but seriously cannot draw - his team still won
12. Definitely Fab at 40
