 Cool fun ways to use sequins

 "Use your sequins to jazz u p your chipboard - create an edge using sequins and dimensional magic"

"Try placing a line of sequins in a little dimensional magic along a border.  Leave only half showing and you have a scalloped border!"

"My new jean jacket was looking a little "blah"...so I made this little broach with some scraps of felt & fabric & the sequins were the perfect accent for the center.  I attached them to the fabric circle with french knots....super easy :)"

Create sweet embellished hairclips with sequins.  Use french knots to hold the sequins into position on the felt.

Make glamorous decorative pins with the addition of some pretty sequins and beads. Add a dot of dimensional magic and dry upside down overnight.

Sequins adhered with a little dimensional magic bling up a homemade gift tag.  A small piece of fabric stitched into a drawstring bag would make a lovely mothers day gift, just pop in her favourite perfumed soap.

For as long as she can remember Vicki has loved art and creating things  So when she was introduced to scrapbooking shortly after the birth of her first child, it was like a match made in heaven! 

 

By combining her love for paper and products and photography Vicki has been able to create a fresh and approachable scrapping style.  In 2006, she was honored to be added to the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame.  In 2008, Vicki became a member of the Creative Team for Better Homes and Gardens Scrapbooks, Etc, which she is excited to report will extend into 2009 when she will be added to their 10^th Anniversary All Star team. Her designs have been published in numerous industry magazines and idea books and she loves to share her passion for scrapbooking through teaching and workshops.  Vicki became a Ranger Certified Instructor in June 2008.

 

With a love for life and laughter, Vicki enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and in her spare time she can be found shopping or taking in a good movie.  She resides in

St. Catharines

with her husband and two, sweet children.

Autism Fundraiser

 Have you seen this from songbird?

If you haven't heard of Songbird before - they have fab digi kits each month and all the proceeds go to a  charity of choice this month Bloom and Grow is a collaboration kit with Ali Edwards, Meredith Fenwick, Amy Wolff, Jan Crowley and Janet Phillips and has been designed to benefit Autism Speaks.

And between now and the end of April 30th Jessica Sprague and Ali Edwards will match each kit purchase with a $2.00 donation each to Autism Speaks bringing the total donation for each kit sold to $12USD
