and this McCalls Pattern - because I am a wuss when it comes to actually doing stuff like this - The thought of making my own pattern scared me too much !

 So I used the pattern pieces and then just followed the instructions from the above link
 I lined the inside the hood with gingham- and the rest with just a satin lining Talia found the gingham at spotlight and liked it - she also wants a basket lined with it -  I did the hood differently so it just slips off - She is not a hood girl she tells me- not sure how u can be red riding hood without a hood but  woteva!

for a simple red riding hood costume - and a snow princess one - that I can make -  Im thinking capes- they have to be something that goes on top of uniforms - like props - well thats wahat I have been told - over and over and over by my two.  Its for canivale day -
any help - much appreciated!
