Thank you for all the Mothers Day ribbon emails - our NZ ones have finally reached their destination based on my inbox over the last two days...
While I keep saying Ill never go to digi I do like to play with it - I like the ease of journaling or for just getting down a favorite picture or memory quickly.
Here is my latest offering. eek just realised its Miss Talia again - Sof is definitely next on the list
Credits -Emily Power papers colours have been edited and Jen Caputo template also edited and Emily Powers date rub on from her page a day kit.
Still battling a bit healthwise my work load is still reduced I was supposed to return to a full load next week but the half days have been extended for another two weeks. Lucky I'm not a footballer - clearly my head doesn't like to be knocked around.
Hope you have been enjoying the sneak peeks each day :)

Time is zooming - lets hope last weeks lecture will settle the model house down. We have a list of favorites - there were tears when Belinda got voted off last week so we had a chat about who everyone cant win as long as they participate ...
On the menu - you may want to stop if you want gourmet or low fat - it is top model night after all
Macaroni Cheese
Bostock Style ( read here the easy version)- One of the girls favorites!
Macaroni Pasta
Carbonara Pasta Sauce
2 carrots grated
Diced bacon - 250gms
Tasty cheese
Dijon Mustard - 2 teaspoons
Tin of corn
Onions ( diced- optional)
Cook the pasta in boiling water - heat the oven - fry the diced bacon up- you can add onions here too if you like
Mix the mustard in with the carbonara sauce
Pour the cooked pasta corn grated carrot bacon/onion into a big casserole dish and mix
Pour the pasta sauce over the top and mix through
Sprinkle a generous amount of grated cheese on top
Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
Then for zert.....
Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding
A family favorite - well mine anyhow and really simple - don't be scared give it a go -It works really .
Pudding
1 1/2 cups Self Raising Flour
1 heaped tablespoon Cocoa
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
Sauce
2 tablespoons Cocoa
1/2 cup sugar Sugar
1 1/4 cups boiling water
Sifting etc is a time thief as far as I am concerned but this works better if you do so get the sifter out!
Sift flour and cocoa together and mix in sugar. Then add the egg, butter and milk to dry ingredients. I put mine in the mixer and give it a good mix
Pour into a casserole dish.
To make the sauce - mix the sauce ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
Pour carefully over pudding mix
Bake for 40 minutes or until a metal skewer comes out clean. Serve hot with ice cream and cream
Id show you a finished photo but Its still cooking and when its finished Ill be eating it :)
Enjoy your night

So here is my go to recipe when all else fails - like I haven't shopped or I'm too tired to cook or think
The girls eat it minus the olives..
wholemeal pasta - cooked ( penne)
a tub of cherry tomatoes halved
tin of tuna - WITH oil not the springwater sort
a block of feta cheese
black olives
a good squeeze of a lemon
a splash of balsamic vinegar
cracked black pepper
Mix it all into a bowl and serve with salad and crusty bread or a herb bread- or just have the pasta
really good for leftovers the next day too for lunch.
Talk time went fine - apparently my daughters can talk underwater LOL
and Drs not so fine but more tests coming - I think we will well and truly hit our Medicare threshold this year.
Project Runway tonight - YAY
Enjoy your evening
PS try the pasta - its good :)

still working on those exciting titles - clearly... No photos to share today -and no recipes... but just wanted to update you on Tari Talk18 pages and image overload - Love my new format only takes about 6 hours to put together now compared to what it did take! but its not being loaded till Tuesday - so you'll have to hang in there for your fix for a little longer.- sneak peaks also start Tuesday for June ! Did I really say June?
On the home front ..
Sunday night in our house is marked by what are you doing for Talk time tomorrow? - x two I'm sure i have mentioned this before cause it drives me crazy.. We start talking about it from Saturday afternoon and it carries on all weekend.
Tonight we failed - I'm thinking of sending a note - Talk time canceled this week for the Bostock girls.- or in the very least a card saying I'm sorry we really tried.
Child 1- Talia has a pie ce of paper with two dinosaur words on teri something and angla something - no idea Richard was in charge of that and I don't know dinosaurs - she was going to draw pictures but got side tracked with sticking Island Girl stickers on some envelopes for invitations for an imaginary party. I told her to take those instead - she said no she wanted to do a dinosaur thing..
Child 2 - Sofia - She's taking her new coloring book - I asked her what she was going to say about her coloring book - she said umm nothing Mumma its just a coloring in book you know.
Yep I do know
I tell ya Prep teachers - can you just imagine the things they hear each day? They so need to be paid more.So talk time tomorrow in the girls class could be rather dodgy.
Hope you had a lovely weekend - thanks for visiting.

Very inventive post titles aren't they?
Richard is off at the corporate games tonight... playing 4 games of soccer from 3.30pm this afternoon on - Good luck - have fun- Thats all I can say - and don't forget to stop for coffee for me on the way home plllllleaaase. The girls and I are eating meatballs for dinner and doing craft till very late - according to them.
Last nights videos were dodgy - I watched Elizabeth today -That was good the other two not so. The only good thing about dodgy vidoes is that it doesn't really interrupt your crafting.
I've just about finished my first project from June - Here is a sneak peek - don't tell anyone though cause we never show sneaks of projects :0
Yes that is fabric - isn't it beautiful.
Thanks for visiting
Tamar
Late breaking news lost the first game and the team have been disqualified on a technicality - he's not happy - I better go make chocolate cake.
