I have been very quiet while I recover - This week I have had to undergo two lots of eye surgery
I had my orange and pink eyes removed and changed for a pretty wheat and a soft lavender . Fortunately my eye surgeon was Aunty Jilly who I trust totally.
Can't wait to see the results!
I took a few moments out this morning to make some notes in my diary. I do like to keep a journal ;)
I think this may be only time I'll get for contemplation today as Tamar has enlisted all of our help to get some cooking done for the school fete.
Do you like my new dress? I think its a bit vintagey I have matched it up with lace stockings and pink boots- Tamar made it from the fabric Aunty Jill sent to her. I heart my Aunty Jill I think we are going to visit her next week.
We have a busy weekend planned here so luckily Talia made me a yummy breakfast

Look what arrived in the mail today ...
a parcel addressed to me!
inside was a pressie :) wrapped in a beautiful soft fabric that I have already asked Tamar to make me a little something from - I hope she does - and a hand stamped card with a lovely message from my Aunty Jill just to me ;)
and inside?
A gorgeous crochet hat and scarf set complete with a removable fabric rosette
and a matching bag with crystals - Tamar is going to convert the bag into a knapsack for me as its a bit big for just a handbag I can use it for hanging out in the park days.
Talia and Sofia think I look tres chic - I say they are totally right.
After that the afternoon was wiled away eating dessert and drinking coffee
The funny thing was though Aunty Ngai, Aunty Jilly and Tamar had their cameras out so often that the table next to us interrupted our coffee to confirm that we were indeed food critics - that got quite a giggle I tell you.
Definately not food critics but we do like our food. I of course was right bang in the middle of it all. I wonder where we are heading to next weekend?
While we were wandering around the markets Tamar spotted this sweet bag. Its denim made from recycled jeans and some funky accessories added. Im so glad she couldn't resist it as it's so cute and not only that it goes perfectly with my outfit -so makes a great back drop for a photo shoot.
I even fit inside and its quite comfy :)
When Tamar Jill and Ngai get together they sure can talk - so while we were sitting in the cafe having lunch - I got bored waiting for the chatter to return to me so I headed off for a wander.
I didn't get far before I got sprung
I would have loved to draw all over this blackboard but there was no chalk around
so I was sent back to the table but by this stage the talk HAD become all about me again :)- More on that tomorrow.
Oh my goodness - apparently my Aunty Jilly has been busy creating something special for me.
I think Tamar knows exactly what it is but she is not saying.
I especially love hand made surprises.
On Sunday we ventured out to Hamilton to visit some Art and Craft markets.
This was my first real adventure and I was really nervous.
I got to sit in the back with Aunty Jilly and watch the world go by.
