Just popping in quickly to let you all know that our next issue of Teapot won't be hitting your inbox until late September, due to Mel's Great Ocean Road trip and my current work commitments- Senior School and Term three - eeeek bring on my long service leave!   There just aren't enough creating hours in the day to bring out the next edition until then, we hope you'll understand :)

Also, this means that we won't be offering any sponsorship spots for bloggers and/or handmade stores during the month of September.

Readers Creations

Hands down the best part about blogging is the emails that you receive saying that someone has been inspired to get creating :)

Thank you to my lovely readers who have shared some of their projects this week.

First up with have Madeline who is simply amazing. Within 2 hours of the hip hip post  going up I had these photos back on my email.

Madeline with I think a little hand from Mumma Vanessa had whipped up her own heatpack softie.

and was snugged up in bed with it.

So cool! And I would share these photos with one of my daughters but she would be all over that trendy black nail polish like a shot which would in turn give her father a heart attack. LOL

 Then Madeline made the  heart chocolates into butterflies :)

 This is a really fun activity.

Today I received an email from Teryl who had a little bunch of crafty girls  over. She had told me that the button canvases were on her to make list - so I was thrilled to see that they had indeed been created. Check out this cute bunch of crafty girls!

Love that they have added their own little embellishments too of flowers and butterflies.

Teapot - and a few questions....

The third installment of Teapot hit inboxes last night. I wasn't able to be here for the roll out as I had friends for dinner so I now have lots of emails and tweets to reply to.

Thank you - we love that you love it so much. We love making it and we really want it to be what you would like.

Just on dinner we perfected the BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE IN THE WORLD RECIPE last night -I'll share it tomorrow :-)

We would love to know a little more about who is reading our Teapot ( and our blogs ) so we have created a mini survey for you. Just ten little questions -you won't even get a  cup of tea finished in the time it will take you to answer :) But it will help us so much to plan future editions.

Just editing some photos and sorting out some blog posts and I came across this one and had to share. Sometimes the cleaning up is almost as pretty as the creating.

The girls and I spent the afternoon working on some  teapot projects for  next issue ( the one after this wednesday)  and now I'm waiting for Richard to bring home a coffee and a treat.

Madam Tojos

I know I'm going to get complaints about my lack of photos from today's adventures with Miss Mel.

But really we worked very hard until 2.00pm planning our next editions of teapot.  We ventured out to Typo at Harbourtown where Mel shopped up a storm and I found a really cute folder with teacups on it which I just had to have for more teapot planning of course.

I then took her to my favourite coffee shop at Chirn Park - Madam Tojos

Where I had  flourless chocolate cake which is just so good it's like a molten pot of chocolate.

And after my first coffee I had to have a tea.

We stayed until it was dark and we could no longer read our notebooks. Before heading home to my munchkins who made a yummy pastitio for dinner in honour of Mel's last night.

We are sad to see her go but so happy we had a few days playing. Mel has decided that Qlders have no clue of what winter is  and spent the evenings giggling at me snuggled under a blanket complaining that I'm cold. She has now un invited me to Tassie as she thinks I'd never cope - I fear she may be right.

 Very much looking forward to Melbourne in a month's time!
