Life is Beautiful ATC Collection
Definition -Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art sized 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or cloth. The cards are usually traded or exchanged rather than sold.
Each collection holds more than enough supplies to make 8 beautiful cards. You can design your own - or be inspired by our ATC designers gallery.
Robyn and Ruby have worked with this new little collection edition. You can see their whole gallery here
Once Ruby finished with her 8 creations she mounted them to a canvas as a gift for a friend
LOVE this idea so much :)
Robyn's work is equally as beautiful - filled with texture and layers
I'll be back inthe next few days with a little tutorial that she has created for you to show how to make these divine flowers
See full details of whats in your collection here
PS Don't forget our discount code found over here

Last book you read and LOVED
I have two favourites at the moment. Jasper Jones by Aussie Craig Silvey, and Room by Emma Donoghue. As I type this I made the connection that they both have a young boy as the main character, but they're completely different stories. I loved them both.

My family
Living at home with my hubby Ian and I are.....my 20 yo
son Mitch as well as his girlfriend Meg during the Uni holidays....and my 17 yo
daughter Briony. My eldest son Brent and his partner Alex.....with their two girls AnnaBella
(2.5yo) and Brooke (1yo) live close nearby..walking distance in fact...which is very nice.
Favourite blog
Gosh that's a tricky one....my google reader is bulging
with blogs I love to read....and growing all the time.
One of my favourites....that I always click when I see an update is....
Jennifer Johners...http://jenniferjohner.typepad.com/ I love her mix of
scrapbooking and home decorating.
Fav colour combo - brown, turquoise, yellow?.....or brown, red, apple
green?.....gosh decisions decisions.
Next trend
golly..this is hard....I think I'm always behind the 8-ball when
it comes to trends.....I tend to scrap with what I like...regardless if its old...new...in fashion...or outdated.
One trend I've loved is upcycling... re-using...and repurposing....Id like to think that perhaps that trend will grown.
Something I've always wanted to do
Mixed media art ! .....there are so many
beautiful inspirations out there at the moment...it would be fun to have a
play.
Coffee.....or tea..lol
Movie
Well I have to admit....I'm NOT a movie person....I rarely watch them.... so I consulted with my movie buff friend (Yvette) ...and she / we decided that perhaps Id love 'Going the distance ' seeing as I like feel good girly type movies. I'm so glad I was prompted to consult my movie buff friend....because now when I get a chance....I'm going to see that movie (she says as she nods her head and stamps her foot)!!!
Favourite magazine
That's easy....I'm hooked on 'real living' magazine....I
never miss a copy now days. I have slowly been what I call 'Mardi-fying' my home...and Real Living magazine has been a real source of inspiration for me....I love that its written with the budget conscious in mind...lots of DIY and cool tricky little ideas.
Favourite book
'The swim club' by Anne de Lisle - this was such a feel
good book.....I was so sad to turn the last page....I wanted it to keep on
going.....and the memories stayed with me for months. I'd actually really
like to re-read it....something I rarely do.
and here is a peek at a layout from Mardi
Please make them welcome:)
