We have just returned from a lovely week in Sydney. A few months ago I took the girls for a three day whirlwind tour and we loved it so much that we vowed to return again as a family.
With cheap flights from Jetstar and a deal from wotif we spent exactly the same budget as we usually do for our week away each year on the Sunshine Coast. By paying for the flights first , then accommodation well before we left and then only having our spending money it was actually less of a strain on the budget than our usual trip.
We felt we got far better value and saw and experienced so much more than we do when we travel to the Sunshine Coast. I'm now determined to create more holidays in the same way.
