Hello everyone, it's Rachel again. I hope you enjoyed my vintage gift wrapping ideas from my post yesterday. Today I have a few more to share with you, enjoy. xo
Black and Cream:
Once you have gathered a few vintage supplies you can quickly wrap a present for any occasion. This elegant black & cream with dusty pink roses wrapping would be perfect for a birthday gift or Christmas present. I had added a couple of hat pins to this as they look beautiful and help hold the flowers in place.
Sew Stunning:
Brown paper, vintage sewing pattern, a vintage paper needle case and a fabric bow make this gift stunning. I often buy vintage holiday postcards and tags to add a splash of colour to a gift. You can also find vintage images to download and print. Sites like Pinterest have great links to free image download sites.
Quilted:
This gorgeous gift is surrounded by a very worn piece of satin quilted fabric, held in place by a wide ribbon and secured with a vintage belt buckle. Don’t you just love how the black buckle holds the ribbon in place and frames the flower.
You will find vintage items at second hand and antique shops, and hunting for them is the most fun. I often ask the shopkeeper if they have any damaged linen, they don’t always stock the shop with damaged linen, so if you ask they might just have it out the back and will sell it to you for a fraction of the price.
Thanks for letting me inspire you here today. Hope you have a wonderful “vintage gift wrapped” holiday season.
Rachel xo
