FAQ's

How do I donate?

Follow the links - and head to the Everyday Hero Site - all donations are made through there and go directly to  cancer research. You can read more about how the money is used here

What if I want to donate more than $5?

Great please do :-) For every $5AU donation you will have a "ticket" in the draw to win our fabulous Art Piece.  The Everyday Hero's Site accepts mastercard visa and paypal.

When will the winner be drawn?

You can donate up until the 31st of October 2009 and the winner will be drawn and announced on this blog and many other blogs  shortly after that date.

When will the final art piece be revealed?

All the charms are due in by  September the 30th - at which time  Jill Geraghty-Groves, Ngaire Bartlam and I will work together to make it a cohesive piece. You can be sure we will share the process right here for you all to see.

What size will it be?

The base wire form that you see in the blog banner is 16 inches - then we plan on adding 100 charms or tags from each of the different artists listed on the side of the blog.

How were the artists chosen?

We all wrote a big list each and then I started emailing - as people are saying yes they want to be involved they are being added to the side menu.

If I win will I have to pay postage?

No. Tarisota will pay for all postage costs associated with getting the  final piece to it's destination.

What if the winner lives internationally?

That is ok :)

If I am contributing can I still donate - and win ?

Absolutely- very donation counts

How can I see close ups of each piece?

They are being added to the photo album on the side of the blog and a post about each piece is also being added. We wanted to do this to serve as an inspirational blog for artwork as well as to show the prize:) The blog will be available long after the gift has been sent.

Where did the idea originate from?

Just recently my husband's cousin Angela Bostock  who was my age, lost her battle with a very aggressive ovarian cancer. The loss for our family has been devastating to say the least. I wanted to do something in her honour and I found a link to a site called Ties That Bind based in the US which was very much this concept.  Sadly we all have stories to tell of young women who have experienced cancer. We hope to celebrate their lives here and share some of their stories too as we head down this mixed media art journey together. Creating Hope has been born. We thank you for your enthusiasmFAQ and support.

When can I start donating?

Right now - we are ready to go!   http://www.everydayhero.com.au/creating_hope

Thank you so much
